By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Germany’s Finance Agency (Finanzagentur) on Wednesday allotted €4.497 billion of a reopened federal bond (Bund).

The agency allotted the 3% federal bond due August 15, 2036, at a weighted average price of 98.91 and an average yield of 3.13%. Total bids reached €5.127 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 1.1.

The reopening increased the issue’s total volume to €12 billion from €6 billion. The federal government retained €1.503 billion for its own account.

The value date is July 31, 2026.
