By Laura Contemori – ROME (Econostream) – Austria’s debt management agency, OeBFA, on Tuesday allotted €575 million of its 2.85% government bond (RAGB) due October 20, 2031, via auction.

The agency allotted €500 million competitively, while €75 million was retained by the Republic. Competitive bids totaled €1.36 billion, resulting in a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.72.

The average accepted price was 99.252, corresponding to an average accepted yield of 3.008%. The highest price bid was 99.470, while the cut-off price was 99.220 and the cut-off yield was 3.015%.

Following the auction, the bond’s outstanding volume increased to €4.075 billion.

Austrian banks purchased €112 million, representing 22.4% of the competitive allotment, while non-Austrian banks took €388 million, or 77.6%.

Settlement is scheduled for August 6, 2026.
